A former Big Law associate, Tom made the transition to legal recruiting with the goal of helping those whose shoes he once stood in advance their careers. This requires not merely acting as a “recruiter,” but as a career consultant. With this goal in mind, Tom works very closely with his attorney candidates to identify and target top tier law firms who will allow his candidates to flourish and will best position them for further career development and advancement. Tom also works collaboratively with his law firm partners to identify and recruit talented attorneys who will best fit those firms’ culture and capabilities.     

Tom began his legal career with the New York office of Mayer Brown. After 5 ½ years, he relocated to Boston and joined Greenberg Traurig. Tom used a legal recruiter to make that transition, and, through that process, learned how a truly dedicated legal recruiter can assist their candidates in reaching their professional goals.     Tom has been a legal recruiter for seven years and has helped numerous attorneys join firms of all sizes, including Top Vault rated firms and AmLaw firms, mid-sized firms, regional firms, boutiques and small firms. With Principle, Tom focuses on placing associates, counsel and partners with firms in New York, Boston, Philadelphia and other major markets nationwide.     

Tom earned his JD from St. John’s University School of Law. A native New Englander, Tom is a fan of all Boston sports teams – and St. John’s basketball – and spends his free time with his family, which mostly means sitting with his wife in hockey rinks and at baseball fields across New England watching his two sons play hockey and baseball.
